Chuck

Our founder is a fly-fishing nut hailing from an angling family in Charleston, South Carolina whose passion for fishing, nature, and everything the jungle has to offer will be obvious from the first conversation! Chuck comes from a military family and was ingrained with respect for servicemen and women from birth. Initially a medical equipment exporter with a location in Costa Rica- his business ventures, networking, and travels led him to the brainchild that is 4 Corners Costa Rica. With over a decade of experience traveling the backroads of the entire country, a well-connected Costa Rican business partner and family that has the same passion for angling, and a network of experienced local captains and friends looking to show the wonders of their land to the world- he has hand-selected the best locations, meals, and experiences to not only bring this dream to life, but to make it available to you!

Marvin

Our primary Costa Rican host whose network, knowledge, and experience provide you with a safe and unforgettable trip. Born and raised in San Ramon, he is the head of a large household with a deep family-tree of fishermen. Moving to New York to help his family in his twenties, Marvin learned English and was introduced to fly fishing for striped bass by some of the Northeast’s most devoted anglers. His business ventures and travels led him to Chuck and after 10 years of successful partnerships, the brother-like duo combined their dreams and experience to make 4 Corners Costa Rica a reality! With a profound support group of family, friends, captains and hosts, the comforting hospitality and cultural immersion provided is unmatched!

Arturo

Raised along the shoreline of Marvista, the oldest son and DNA replica of Marvin brings passion and energy to your adventure. Specializing in street smarts and local knowledge, Arturo is very well connected and in tune with the pulse of the country. While working in the hospitality industry in Vail, Colorado during college, he gained knowledge and experience needed to cater to the comforts of visitors while also refining his roll-cast abilities in his free time!
